Transferring files from a Mark5A disk to an external disk
---------------------------------------------------------
connect a USB drive to the fast USB port; its in the right side of the rear,
behind the swinging ribbon connectors.

log into mark5gb as vlbsoft

mount the external disk (Chris or Wolfgang)

(it doesn't matter what directory you run this from)

$ tstMark5A

> disk2file=filename:startbyte:endbyte:a;
e.g.
> disk2file=testfile1:0:52288417104:w;

> disk2file?   {get status of transfer}

Do not use quote symbols!
Use the FULL PATH to the destination file!

You can use scan_set to set which scan to use;
> scan_set=2  to set pointers for scan #2 and disk2file uses those pointers.

e.g.
> disk2file=/mnt/ehd1/scratch/datafile2:::w;
