There will be a visit to the site for ASAC members on 11th and 12th of October. Travel up will be on LA 154 (leaves SCL at 15:55 on Monday 11th Oct) which means you will get to the OSF about about 20:30 in time for dinner. Accommodation will be at the OSF and there will be chance to see "observing" in progress in the control room. In the morning you will be able visit the high site, and come down in time for lunch and a tour of the OSF before returning on the bus leaving at 15:00 to catch the LA 155 from Calama arriving in Santiago at 20:30 on Tuesday 12th Nov.* This tour will be taking place while the Operations Readiness Review is going on in Santiago, which means that many of us will be tied up there. We will however makes sure that there is somebody with you who can answer your questions, remind you to keep breathing, etc. Please let us know right away if you plan to join this tour. It is still true that if this itinerary does not suite you we can arrange for visits at other times. In particular there will be a visit arranged for the people attending the Operations Review on the 9th and 10th (Saturday and Sunday) - basically the same schedule as the above - and I sure that it will be fine for ASAC members to come on that. Also if there are any people who would like to visit the site after the ASAC meeting, e.g. on 15/16th, that can be arranged too. Please make your travel reservations as soon as possible. Remember that the strong preference is for you to get all your flights reserved at the same time and to get the admin people at your local executive to make those arrangements. Let us know of you plans as soon as possible so that we can confirm the accommodation and local travel arrangements. If there are problems with flights then let us know that too - we may be able to help. The meeting will be held in the new Vitacura building, which is located at: Joint ALMA Observatory Alonso de Córdova 3107 Vitacura 763-0355, Santiago - Chile
