  • 17B
    • Proposal Review
      • Science Reviews. Individual science reviews are due 1 March (next Wednesday). Since we have some flexibility two panels (AGN and SFM) have delayed their deadline to provide more time. They will both have at least 2 days to draft consensus reviews before their first telecon.
      • Technical Reviews. Technical reviews are due on 27 February (next Monday). ToneyMinter reports no known issues with the GBT technical reviews. He will send a reminder. MarkClaussen has sent a reminder for VLA/VLBA/GMVA technical reviewers. As far as he knows everything is going okay. They will have a postmortem on Tuesday.
      • SRP Telecons. The telecon schedule is in place. JessicaUtley will run all telecons since there are no overlaps. MarkClaussen and DanaBalser will be the technical support. MarkClaussen will confirm the proposed schedule. LorantSjouwerman suggested we may want to note during the introductory comments that there was not a fixed cutoff of 20 hr on technical reviews as in the past. This semester MarkClaussen determined this for each proposal and the 20 hr cuttoff was only a guideline. DanaBalser will draft the introductory comments. LewisBall will provide a plan on how we discuss the issues on gender and proposal evaluation.
  • Account System. GarethHunt summarized our plans on how to deal with affiliations in the future. The plan is to not support updating affiliations. If the user cannot find an affiliation in our database the affiliation they input will be used directly; we will not update affiliations. We will disable the creation of a helpdesk ticket but keep the udb-admin emails. The email addresses will not be effected. Little or no work is required for the PST. There was some discussion if this would effect tools downstream of the PST (OPT, DSS). We think the answer is no, but GarethHunt will send around a short document with some details to the TTA group and copy PaulMarganian.
