Active Large/Triggered Proposal Page. The VLA and GBT pages have been check by GustaafVanMoorsel and ToneyMinter, respectively. MarkClaussen will check the VLBA pages. Also, all Sponsored proposal disposition letters have been sent except for the VLBA which MarkClaussen will send out soon.
eNews. A special eNews was sent out reminding our users about Student Observing Support opportunities. The regular eNews will go out soon that will include the article about 16A proposals.
CfP. The text must be finalized by 4 January 2015, 1 pm EST. The VLBA draft is ready for review. It has been sent out to external partners (e.g., GMVA) for review. The GBT draft is also ready for review. The VLA is almost ready.
Technical Reviews. LorantSjouwerman led a discussion about technical reviews vis-a-vis the decision not to review proposals less than 20 hr for the VLA and VLBA. He questioned whether or not we are not pushing problems off to the data analysts. ClaireChandler did a review of the correlator setups, where most of the problems arise, and only found a few issues for 16A. MarkClaussen was planning to look these over more closely. Currently the plan is to move forward with the same policy in 16B as we had in 16A. The PST software is being updated so we can select a time cutoff; we can set this to zero if we wanted to revert back to reviewing all proposals.
Testing. First round is almost complete. LST calculator still needs to be confirmed (BarryClark will get to this today), and some of the Account tickets (GarethHunt will get to this soon). Otherwise we are ready for general user testing.
GOST/RCT. A ticket was added to update the VLA resource page to note for some modes an RCT file needs to be uploaded instead of a GOST file.
PHT Requirements. We reviewed our discussion from last week. We decided to keep all of the tickets that were labeled as "My Priorities" by BarryClark, plus 3202 (TAC Review CSV) added by DanaBalser, as the highest priority (critical). If work can begin on this by mid-January we should be able to complete them. Next on the list will be those labeled as "nice to have". At the top of this list will be 3050 (Fix Science Review CSV) and 3024 (Fix Director's Review CSV).
SRP/TAC Recruitment. MarkClaussen has sent out some solicitations, but is not as far as he would have liked. He did not get as many recommendations from the scientific staff as he has in the past. TimBastian has been rejected twice for the one TAC position but will send out another offer today.
