  • Review Status.
    • Technical Reviews. Completed and vetted.
    • Science Reviews. The 1 September deadline has been extended for all SRPs. Two have finished as of 2 September and most will finish by the end of the week. DanaBalser will normalize the scores for the two completed SRPs.
    • PST Conflict Issues. Two chairs had problems whereby the conflicts were not consistent between the Reviews summary page and the My Reviews page. One chair noticed the discrepancy; the other did not. The software uses different flags for these pages and they are not tied to the semester. RickLively suspects that we need to clear these flags at the start of the cycle. In each case we did have problems with the chair's conflict flags.
    • Reviewer Close Out. One SPR member was not able to complete their reviews and thus we closed out the remaining reviews.
    • Too Many Conflicts. It has become clear that given that more and more proposals have large authors lists there are too many conflicts. For 16A one proposal has 5 conflicts and five proposals (all large proposals) have 4 conflicts (though three of these are part of the same joint proposal). We have solicited 2 reviews from another SRP for the proposal with 5 conflicts. We will inform the TAC about the proposals with 4 conflicts so they can check these more carefully.
    • TAC Meeting. A TAC chair has been found but he may not be able to attend the large proposal telecon so we need to find a chair pro tem. We will have at least 3 TAC members who will attend remotely (maybe 4). We will plan to use WebEx to display information (e.g., PHT). MarkClaussen will contact the remote TAC members to check on any technical issues. If they have a polycom system they could connect via video.
  • PHT Items. JenPlank has completed the first 3 items. BarryClark has checked these briefly and they seem okay. He will iterate with JenPlank if necessary. She started to work on the weather stuff but will hold back until 16B. JenPlank created EVL-3106 based on a comment BarryClark made on another ticket. They will revisit this ticket and assess its priority. In order to be ready for 16A these items have to be close to complete by the middle of September.

  • EVL-3102 Check box for all vs partial data. This was discussed via email and TimBastian decided it should not be included. ClaireChandler wants further discussion. For now we will put this item on hold.
  • DDT Page. We agreed to remove the DDT page that lists the DDT proposals. We will use the PFT instead which will save effort.
  • TTA Meeting. No meeting next week (10 September 2015) due to the SRP telecons.
