Director's Review. DanaBalser and LewisBall briefly summarized the review. No changes were made by the Directors' so we can proceed to the next stage without any modifications.
TAC Report/Disposition Letters. The plan is for the TAC reports, disposition letters, and science programs to be done separately for each of the observatories. DanaBalser will produce the TAC report/science program for the VLA and BarryClark / GustaafVanMoorsel will handle the disposition letters using the PHT. ToneyMinter will produce the TAC report/science program and use the GB PHT to handle the disposition letters. DanaBalser will communicate with LBO on how to proceed for the VLBA. We agree to coordinate the timing of the disposition letters. RickLively will correspond with ToneyMinter on getting the public bit set and the disposition letters transferred to the PST for the GBT. Lastly we discussed the eNews wrap-up letter and how to proceed with the three observatories. One suggestion was to have an AUI report with potential follow-up articles in GBO and LBO newsletters. LewisBall will discuss this with KarenONeil and WalterBrisken.
PST. RickLively reported that he is on schedule to release PST items around 15 November for testing by DanaBalser with a goal of releasing it for general testing in early December. At the request of a reviewer we agreed to add a sentence in the PST scientific justification guidelines that each page should have at minimum of 1" for all margins.
SRP/TAC Recruitment. LewisBall discussed plans on how to address the low number of female reviewers on our science review panels (SRPs). The initial goal will be to have at least 30% of the SRP reviewers be female. He is currently recruiting an external female scientist to help in this process. A broader discussion ensued with a brief summary of the ALMA experience and the transparency of the review panels members.
GMVA Proposals. GarethHunt asked how best to handle the one GMVA 17A proposal that did not request GBT, VLBA, or VLA stations. Could we withdraw this proposal. The consensus was that we should not withdraw this proposal since we agreed to handle all GMVA proposals for the astronomical community regardless of the stations.
