• 15B
  • Review Status. The SRP telecons are complete and the scores have been linearized. One proposal (VLA/15B-332) requested a configuration not available and the PI was not a student. This slipped through since it was accepted after the deadline and the proposal id was manually updated. It appears they specified the wrong configuration so in the end this worked out okay.
  • TAC preparation
    • PST. One item remains and is ready for testing.
    • PHT Status. A couple of items remain to be finished (Decl. coordinate is incorrect and better handling of configurations). BarryClark has a workaround if these cannot be completed in the PHT on time. Testing between the PHT and GB PHT has been completed.
    • Documents
      • TAC Large Proposal Telecon. The following documents need to be produced.
        • Agenda. DanaBalser will work on this with the TAC chair.
        • TAC Guidelines. Already on the web pages.
        • Preliminary list of priorities and pressure plots. GBT (ToneyMinter); VLA (GustaafVanMoorsel); and VLBA (MarkClaussen) with assistance from BarryClark.
        • Info for Carryover Large Projects.
      • TAC Face-to-Face.
        • Agenda. DanaBalser will work on this with the TAC chair.
        • Update to list of priorities and pressure plots. GBT (ToneyMinter); VLA (GustaafVanMoorsel); and VLBA (MarkClaussen) with assistance from BarryClark.

  • PST Requirements. All items discussed last week are now in JIRA. MarkClaussen added a few more to the PoR; DanaBalser will put these into JIRA. There was some discussion about using JIRA for the PoR format.
    • DDT Proposals with Available Resources. There was some discussion about adding documentation that DDT exploratory proposals should only be submitted when the resources requested were available. This has mostly been an issue for VLA configuration but it was felt that it could be expanded to resources in general. It was not clear if this would be appropriate for the GBT. BarryClark will craft some text for comment.
  • GOST Requirements. No new requirements.
  • GBT Sensitivity Calculator Requirements. No new requirements.
  • VLA Exposure Calculator Requirements. Several items that have been organized here: https://safe.nrao.edu/wiki/bin/view/Software/ECTPoRAug2015. We should do the critical items and others if time is available.

  • Several PST issues for 16A:
    • If we add another facility for joint proposals then we have to update the code for 16A. TimBastian says this is unlikely.
    • The data rate for VLA spectral line is only captured in GOST and is not available in the PST. RickLively says this comes up in meetings as a high priority. DanaBalser will talk with ClaireChandler.
  • Thumb Drives: DanaBalser will make sure thumb drives that contain the proposals will be available to the TAC (faster than the PST).
