18B Items. DanaBalser has not yet received any direct feedback on testing but there has been some activity on JIRA. BryanButler reported that a minor change for the VLA involving a drop down menu has been added to JIRA. MarkClaussen reported that the issue with the ECT involving confusion limit warnings appears to have been fixed. The deadline for general testing is 5 December 2017.
Session-less PST. A version of the Session-less PST has been released for testing. The plan is for LorantSjouwerman (VLA), ToneyMinter (GBT), and MarkClaussen (VLBA/GMVA) to recruit people locally for testing. DanaBalser created about 25 proposals based in part on the Use Cases in the requirements document. These are primarily intended to test the software downstream. Currently only a PST admin can see these proposals on the Proposal List page, but users can be added to the proposal if necessary. There was a short discussion about a VLBA issue that occurs during validation. A message says that the proposal did not validate without any details. In several instances the message disappears if the resource page is edited and then saved without any changes. JamesCheckard is looking into this problem.
Reviewer Volunteer. LewisBall provided draft text for a web page to allow people from the community to volunteer to be a science reviewer. MarkClaussen will put together a web page for this purpose with input from AmyMioduszewski and BrianMason. The goal is to have this ready for 19A.
SRP Recruitment. DanaBalser reported that JessicaUtley will send out the letters to continuing and new reviewers shortly. MarkClaussen and AmyMioduszewski reported that the process is moving forward with a typical success rate. They were able to extend the reviewer period for several reviewers in panels that had large turnover so that there would not be so many new reviewers. MarkClaussen will remind BrianMason to copy the recruiters, DanaBalser, and LewisBall on emails to JessicaUtley about new reviewers so that they are in the loop.
Honorarium. LewisBall will talk with MillerGoss about the review system in the past vis-a-vis giving out an honorarium.
