PST Status. RickLively reported that there were no issues thus far with the server.
PST. LorantSjouwerman reported two tickets related to software this week and an update to the status of last week's tickets.
Two New Tickets:
Erroneous validation message for an HSA proposal. RickLively fixed a similar issue for the 22A release but this is probably another one. MarkClaussen will send the info to RickLively who will create a JIRA ticket.
Uploading a source list gives a Java error. DanaBalser confirmed that this was caused by importing an invalid velocity definition. RickLively confirmed that the validation worked properly for another field and this is probably a bug. LorantSjouwerman will create this ticket (already in progress).
Special characters. RickLively said we should be able to fix this particular character (apostrophe) and he thought he had fixed this before. Fixing control characters will be harder. LorantSjouwerman will create a JIRA ticket.
Disappearing technical justification text. This is part of the technical debt and is currently being worked on.
Account. DanaBalser reported (for AnandCrossely) that there were 9 outstanding institutional tickets and one password reset ticket (today). We briefly discussed the password resets as AmyMioduszewski was worried we had to intervene for all password resets. DanaBalser and RickLively noted that we get a ticket only when there is some issue (e.g., defunct email).
PST Technical Debt. RickLively reported no major solutions yet but progress has been made.
Empty directory ticket. He noticed some directories were added this morning and he has the proposal ID. He has been trying to reproduce this problem but he cannot do so consistently so far.
Technical categories ticket. He has been unable to reproduce this bug but has added more looging. We briefly discussed some of the steps that caused the problem last semester. We agreed that MarkClaussen and ToneyMinter will coordinate their actions when adding technical reviewers next week.
TTA Meeting: There will be no TTA meeting next week because of the proposal deadline work and the VLA conference.
Technial Review Documentation:MarkClaussen requested some help with updating the TR documentation. AmyMioduszewski will do this next Tuesday. ToneyMinter reported that there should not be any GBT changes.
SRP/TAC Reviewers:MarkClaussen reported that he added all SRP reviewers except for the AGN SRP since we need to wait until after the proposal deadline to decide on the supplemental reviewers. He also reported that there were no TAC members listed for 21B (and therefore these were not copied to 22A). DanaBalser noted that this was an issue for metrics code that generated the TAC gender distributions. RickLively will have a look; we can add these back into the PST using the information in the Google doc.
Frequency Averaging:LorantSjouwerman reported that we plan to disable frequency averaging for the OPT and therefore need to update the PST; we can do this for 22B. He will add a ticket. EmmanuelMomjian suggested we think about how best to do so.
Documentation:LorantSjouwerman noted that there are lots of issues with the documentation (e.g., old material, missing go-links, etc.). We briefly discussed that the PST Plone documentation is under the VLA pages which does not seem appropriate. EmmanuelMomjian reported that this has been investigated and moving the pages to a higher level is not so easy. We might ask DavisMurphy. LorantSjouwerman will send DanaBalser a list of the issues.
