  • 20B
    • Large Proposal Telecon
      • Logistics. DanaBalser reported that the telecon will be on 9 April 2020 (Thursday) at 09:00-12:00 EDT (07:00-10:00 MDT). The NGA SRP chair will not be able to attend but will send any feedback to the TAC chair before the telecon.
      • Material. ToneyMinter reported that the DSS simulations are crashing right now so it is not clear if the GBT info will be ready for release as planned on 6 April 2020. Both AmyMioduszewski and MarkClaussen reported that there are no issues thus far for the VLA and VLBA, respectively.
    • TAC "Face-to-Face" Meeting
      • Logistics. DanaBalser reported that CIS should provide details on how we will connect remotely soon. The requirements included a desire to use a room in SO (if possible) and connection via Linux. There was some concern with the internet connection at the homes of several observatory participants. Some may need another observatory laptop to connect or use hot spots to improve the connection bandwidth. We also discussed how best to run the meeting. Most of the material is in the form of PDF and therefore content does not need to necessarily be displayed. There is a raise hand option in Zoom to help communication with larger groups.
  • 21A
    • PST CfP Requirements. RickLivey collected all tickets that will be worked on into a 21A Epic ticket. There were several questions:
      • Do HSA proposals count in the new GBT Large proposal constraints? We have no formal policy if HSA propsals can be Large or not, but handle these on a case by case manner. We agreed not to include the HSA proposals in the new GBT Large proposal constraints.
      • Do we need more than two weeks of development? No, things are a little tight but we should be able to complete these in two weeks. We therefore do not have to lobby for time at the SSA prioritization meeting.
      • Are review items included in the two weeks? No, there is an additional two weeks for PST/PHT review tickets.
  • Joint NRAO/XMM-Newton ToO. The XMM-Newton folks want to allow ToO triggers to be valid for 3 AOs and if this was acceptable with the joint program. Many people had concerns that this was too long. We often do not have Triggered proposals that extend more than a few semesters. There have been some Large Triggered proposals that have extended 3 years. Since this is a change in policy, DanaBalser will inform DaleFrail and KarenONeil.
