Status: So far nine 19A proposals have been submitted (5 VLA, 1 GBT, 3 VLBA). Most of the PST helpdesk tickets have been details involving the proposed observations and no issues with the PST. Please note to Resolve the ticket once you have converged since helpdesk metrics are generated. No apparent issues with the Simbad/NED search. This is, however, causing serious problems in the AAT since the query does not time out; they have to reset the server several times per day.
Review:RickLively reported that he is having some issues implementing SSA-4651 (Query Reviewer About Score Direction in the PST). The issue is with the dialog popup. Once this is done he will put this on webtest for testing. We need to start testing soon since things will get very busy as we get close to the deadline (1 August).
SRP Recruitment. MarkClaussen reported that there is still one vacancy in ISM. He has an ace he will go to soon if necessary.
VLA Available Time. AmyMioduszewski submitted a JIRA ticket. She suggested that we should add a field in the PST about the number of semesters for VLA ANY configuration resources. This could be propagated automatically to the PHT. We could then automatically estimate how the ANY configuration hours are allocated instead of doing this manually, both for the overall metrics (table below the pressure plot in the PHT) and for input to the prioritizer. We agreed that this was a reasonable solution. AmyMioduszewski will discuss this with BryanButler and BarryClark and then update the JIRA ticket. RickLively will assess the resources required to update the software for both the PST and PHT. LewisBall noted that we need to update the annual reports soon (7 August). These should only include semester based metrics (e.g., pressure), but he will check. DanaBalser and AnandCrossley will work to update these as necessary; any further updates to the metrics will wait for changes in the PHT (e.g., requested time). DanaBalser reported that the pressure plots given to the User's Committee were not quite correct since he did not carry the ANY configuration hours forward for semesters with only one configuration. Also, ToneyMinter pointed out that we do not consider the requested hours for time that goes through external TACs; in fact, we do not even see all of the proposals, just those that are approved. We discussed adding a footnote to the pressure plots indicating that these are lower limits because of this fact. HeidiMedlin asked if we factor the observed time from a previous semester to update the time remaining in the current semester vis-a-vis the LST pressure plots. The answer is generally no for the VLA, but this is done for the VLBA and GBT.
VLA Spectroscopy:GarethHunt reported the results of a request from KenKellermann on the fraction of time spent on spectroscopy on the VLA. The answer is 1/3. He will send around some details.
