  • TTAT Status. JeffKern summarizes the status of the TTAT project. We are about 3 weeks from connecting the front-end to the back-end. Solicitations can be opened. There is one VLA capability with lots of assumptions. The first version of the UI was released and tested. Within a few weeks we should be at version 0.1 when we will solicit feedback from the TTA group (RID-based). Next will be to start working on a GBT spectral line Use Case. After this we will start working on the review process. When this is complete we will be at version 0.2. We have been working on some Use Cases (e.g., GBT pulsar Use Case). We have also been working on the algorithms to produce Observation Specifications (e.g., ala ALMA using a segmentation algorithm). Difficult to give an accurate timeline at this point. Progress has been slow. The current plan is to develop a dual-anonymous panel-based review process. We have working documents on the dual-anonymous process and metrics but to move forward requires the SSR AD. In parallel folks are working on the model for the new account system for the entire obsevatory (e.g., exploring zero trust model).
  • New Test/Dev Virtual Servers. StephanWitz summarizes the plan for the different PST servers. Currently there are two environments: production and dev/test. We are in the process of commissioning a third environment so we will have: (1) production; (2) test (which will be available externally); and (3) developement. There are also some changes to the version control, etc. but these will not be visible to the TTA group. Also, since the webtest environment is overloaded the PST version will be separate. We may need some validation from the TTA group (late March).
  • 22B
    • Individual Reviews
      • Technical. ToneyMinter reported that the GBT technical reviews are going okay. One reviewer had errors due to Mac/Safari but okay when switching browser. MarkClaussen reported that the VLA/VLBA technical reviews are going okay. One reviewer had a question about a TR cue.
      • Science. DanaBalser reported that the science reivews are going okay. All SPRs have assigned reviewers to proposals.
    • SRP Meetings. DanaBalser reported that the SRP meetings have all been scheduled are are ready to go. The HIZ SRP meeting time was changed to accommodate one reviewer's schedule.
    • PST/PHT Review Items. RickLively reported that he will probably release the PHT tomorrow for one ticket; the other two PHT items need to be monitored at this stage. The two PST review items are ready to go. The only other items are account tickets; one of these requires communicating with AnandCrossely. The plan is to release the PST items before the SRP meetings in March. Beyond the assigned two, 2-week developement periods for the CfPs and Review tickets, respectively, there will be time set aside for the transfer of knowledge within the SSA group. Some validation from the TTA group may be required.
  • AOB
    • 23A CfP PST Items. AllieCosta sent an email with the JIRA links to the tickets for dicussion. We will use two TTA meetings (3 March and 24 March) for discussion. Please add any new resource items.
    • VLA Sub-arrays. EmmanuelMomjian noted that we are expanding sub-arrays and thefore expect more proposals with sub-arrays. Some concern about how they work in the PST. The functionality to deal with sub-arrays in the PST was removed since it was confusing and did not work well. The user specifies sub-arrays on the General page and works around them on the Sessions page to get the correct time. We agreed to (1) make sure the workaround is described in the PST documentation; and (2) include this in the Helpdesk knowledgebase.
