  • 25B
    • Individual Reviews
      • Science Reviews. DanaBalser reported no major issues. There were three proposals with only 2 reviewers. For two of these proposals there were soft conflicts which were relaxed, whereas in one proposal we have recruited reivewers from another panel. We will need to normalize these scores offline.
      • Technical Reviews. JayFrothingham reported that they have worked out the issue of the GB staff person who was both a science and technical reviewer by creating a new account. One potential issue is that the GBT data volume observed in the 24B semester was about 4 times larger than expected, and so we need to monitor the potential data volume for the accepted proposals in the 25B semester. AmyMioduszewski reported no known major issues for the VLA. RobertMinchin noted that the VLBA technical justifications from one demographic were particulary poor resulting in extra effort from the staff. We should discuss this at the TAC meeting and Directors' review. It might be good to promote proposers to submit helpdesk tickets about the technical aspects of the VLBA before the proposal deadline to produce better technical justifications.
      • External Technical Reviews. DanaBalser noted that we have recevied feedback from several external facilities---no major issues.
    • SRP Meetings. JessicaBurns has produced a tentative schedule for SRP meetings. DanaBalser will propose the support schedule soon.
  • AOB
    • GBT Filler Solicitations: JayFrothingham reported that due to poor weather conditions and maintenance we need about 500 hours of filler time to properly schedule the GBT starting in March. Therefore, two proposal solicitations will be announce soon. These will be for low frequency (X-band and lower). These will be submited as DDT with the 2 page limit and have a cue in the title. (AnandCrossley will create a JIRA ticket to add a new propoals type in the PST for these specail calls so that they can be better tracked in the future.)
      1. Internal Solicitation. For a total of 150 hours with 30 hours maximium per proposal.
      2. External Solicitation. These proposals must be able to use "standard" observing scripts and be amenable to a pipeline to produce science ready data products.
