  • 20B
    • Individual Review
      • Science. DanaBalser reported that the reviewers for all SRPs have been assinged. We have at least 4 reviewers for each of the 8 Large proposals and no chair hard conflicts. The time-scale for completing the assignments was quicker than usual.
      • Technical. MarkClaussen and ToneyMinter reported no major issues and that some folks have completed their reviews. There was some confusion about the instructions for conflicts; in general there is only a conflict if the reviewer is an author. Any issues are usually handled offline. We should review the guidelines for conlficts and confidentiality.
    • Source Conflicts. BarryClark will generate these sometime today.
    • PHT Items. AmyMioduszewski reported that the last ticket was tested and essentially works. There is a minor issue which would be good to fix but is not a show stopper. We need to release by 16 March 2020.
  • PST Discussion
    • Rest frequencies vs. sky frequencies in PST. This is an issue for proposals with high z sources. The problem is that the redshift is connected to the sources located on the Source page, but the frequency info in on the Resources page. We agreed to keep with rest frequencies. One potential issue could be validation checks that prevent including the rest frequencies for some high z proposals. Another issue was that the frequencies have to be input multiple times which is arduous for many tuning (maybe in the technical justification). MarkClaussen which investigate these issues.
    • Report of co−I able to unsubmit (at least Large) proposals after the deadline. This appears to have only occurred once and thus we will not add a JIRA ticket.
    • Documentation updates. This is really related to observatory documentation and not TTA documentation and was therefore not dicussed at the meeting.
    • Get external data (e.g., external proposal [e.g., global cm VLBI], CO-Is added after proposal) into the PST. There was a long discussion of these issues. Based on decisons made by the relevant ADs the following was decided (at least for VLA/VLBA, this will be discussed separately for the GBT):
      1. The PI of all approved external proposasl must register at my.nrao.edu.
      2. Observatory staff will create external proposals in the PST for all approved proposals.
      3. We will not add authors to proposals after they have been submitted, but include them downstream. There is now a method to do this for the Archive.
