  • 20A
    • SRP Telecons. DanaBalser reported that there are two SRP that still have incomplete consensus reviews. The expectation is to finalize the review later today or sometime tomorrow (Friday). DanaBalser and MarkClaussen summarized the SRP telecons. Overall they were typical. Sometimes the disucssion went on longer than needed. RickLively noted two software issues: (1) Bug (or feature) of the code is that a chair cannot assign themselves a review unless there is one or more conflicts. This needs to be fixed since the chairs now assign reviewers to proposals. (2) There was a dissertation plan in Microsoft Word format that was not inclulded in the PDF printout. One could download it from the Authors page but the panel thought the dissertation plan was not included. The software should only accept PDF format. DanaBalser added text to the PST documentation to only use PDF files and contacted the student about the issue. ToneyMinter noted that a GBT proposal sumbitted as Regular should be promoted to Large since there was an error in the exposure time calculation of a factor of two. Conversely, MarkClaussen recalled that a GBT Large proposal might want to be moved to Regular for a similar reason going in the other direction. ToneyMinter will investigate and send DanaBalser and AnandCrossley the list of GBT Large proposals.
    • TAC Meeting. JessicaUtley has contacted the TAC about attendance. DanaBalser will draft the agenda soon. We briefly discussed a change in the structure of the meeting. ToneyMinter had suggested we do HSA/GMVA separately instead of discussing them multiple times (e.g., GBT and VLBA). So the plan is to discuss telescopes in the following order: GBT, VLA, VLBA, HSA, GMVA.
    • PHT Review Items. RickLively reported no work on this so far. There may be some resources in the next few days to work on the main two items. He will discuss the time frame with AmyMioduszewski.
  • 20B
    • Helpdesk/PST Requirements Coordination. Starting on 1 October, LorantSjouwerman will take over the responsibilities of managing the proposing helpdesk and coordinating the requirements and testing of the PST. Management has converged on deadlines for when TTA software requirements are due to SSA. Therefore the TTA group needs to meet and prioritize items before these deadlines. Small items may be accommodated after these deadlines depending on the workload. Large items need to be prioritized with work from other projects. Here are the dates:
      • 1 Apr: Proposing A semester
      • 1 Jul: Review A semester
      • 1 Oct: Proposing B semester
      • 1 Jan: Review B semester
    • PST CfP Requirements. LorantSjouwerman suggested that we begin to prioritize the 20A CfP (proposing) items at the next TTA meeting. He has discussed this with BryanButler and WalterBrisken. ToneyMinter noted that the GBO is currently in negotiation with a potential sponsor and therefore there is a bit of uncertainity, but he will have any known items next week. LorantSjouwerman and RickLively will discuss a general test schedule and this will be included in the email for the weekly TTA meeting.
  • AOB
    • GBT RFI Project: AnandCrossley noted that there is a GBT project which appears to be a test program but is considered as science in his metrics. We discussed whether this should be under testing or not and it was not clear. So for now we will leave this as science.
