  • 22B
    • GBO Special CfPs. DanaBalser reported for ToneyMinter that we received 10 proposals for the GBT special call. The proposals have been sent out (external from the PST) for science review and will be sent out soon for technical review. These proposals have been given a 22A proposal ID and a deadline date of 2021-02-01 (21B). The phrase "SC" has been added to the the title. These are all Large proposals except for one. DanaBalser will ask ToneyMinter to change the one Regular proposal to Large; that is, pilot projects for future Large requests are usually considered Large.
    • Timeline. DanaBalser reported that the timeline has been finalized.
    • CfPs
      • GBO. DanaBalser reported for ToneyMinter that a draft GBO CfPs is ready for review. There should be no issues sending out the call on 4 January 2022.
      • NRAO. DanaBalser noted that the VLA and VLBA pages are being reviewed. MarkClaussen reported some minor issues with the VLBA page and that he is still waiting for feedback from the GMVA folks. He will send an email to DanaBalser when done. DanaBalser will email EmmanuelMomjian to confirm that the VLA page is done. MarkClaussen will check the Joint page.
    • PST CfP Items. RickLively reported that he has fixed the issues with the medium priority issues and these are ready for testing. He has also fixed one account ticket that should be ready to be released with the CfP release. There are two new tickets: SSA-7235 to add validation on the account name on the server side; and SSA-7236 to update the PST library. We should also consider updating the ETC library. LorantSjouwerman, DanaBalser, and MarkClaussen will test the CfP medium tickets, PST library update, and ECT library update, respectively. For the CfP release the plan is:
      1. RickLively will release the PST etc. early on 4 January 2022.
      2. DanaBalser will test the PST.
      3. MarkClaussen will test the ECT.
      4. LorantSjouwerman will check the links (e.g., GOST).
      5. DanaBalser will inform DavisMurphy and ToneyMinter that the emails can be sent.
    • SRP/TAC Recruitment. MarkClaussen reported that 6 SRP vacancies remain. AmyMioduszewski noted that many people are not responding to her querries. Our nominal goal is to complete the recruitment by the day we send out the CfPs. We briefly discussed some potential internal staff memebers to fill these vacancies if necessary. DanaBalser will send some potential ISM candidates to MarkClaussen.
  • Divide AGN SRP. DanaBalser reported that JoanWrobel and FrankSchinzel were okay with the way BarryClark suggested we divide the AGN SRP into two new panels. JoanWrobel suggested we change "AGN in Normal Galaxies (ANG)" to "Low Luminosity AGN (LLA)". We agreed to use this label. AllieCosta will send DanaBalser a new figure (ANG --> LLA). DanaBalser will send this proposal to the TAC for comment.
  • Proposal Policy---page length. DanaBalser reported a request that we should not include references as part of the 4 page limit for proposals. The reasoning was (1) it enforces limits on the direct arguements; (2) it does not penalize authors who need to include many references; and (3) authors do not spend time messing with formatting to save space. Also, this mirrors NSF policy. After some discussion the TTA group felt this was not necessary. You should not need to include so many references. Authors are always going to spent time formatting to include more information. References are part of the proposal. It was also not clear how this would be implemented in the PST.
  • AOB
    • Future TTA Meeting: Because of the holidays the next two TTA meeting are cancelled. The next TTA meeting will be on 6 January 2022.
