Disposition Letter Feedback. We discussed two emails from PIs concerning their disposition letters. In both cases communication with the TAC was necessary but there was a consensus that there should not be communication between the TAC and PI. AmyMioduszewski and DanaBalser will reply to these emails.
Science Program. DanaBalser reported that a draft of the NRAO science program is available and to please send him any feedback. ToneyMinter reported that the GBO science program is already public.
Transfer Disposition Letters and Time to PST. The plan is for AmyMioduszewski and MarkClaussen to send the disposition letters and time from the PHT to the PST for the VLA and VLBA, respectively, sometime tomorrow (13 Friday 2020). For the GBT RickLively will import the GBT disposition letters and work with AnandCrossley to get the time imported; we agreed that this information is sensitive and should not be included in JIRA directly. We agreed that we want the time by priority as well as the total time. ToneyMinter noted that there are three projects on hold and these will have to be imported at a later time. We agreed that we should come up with a way to periodically check differences between the GB PHT and PST and thus be able to include any holdover proposals as well as to check for any anomalies.
Set Public Bit. Once all disposition letters and time have been imported into the PST RickLively will update the public bit and reveal the relevant proposals in the PFT.
Timeline. ToneyMinter noted that he may not be available on 9 April 2021 (Large proposal meeting). We agreed to shift the meeting one day to 8 April 2021.
CfPs. DanaBalser reported that the current plan is for the NRAO/GBO CfPs to be sent on Monday, 4 January 2021. The plan is for DavisMurphy to update the NRAO CfP template by 23 November 2020 and that we will have the text finalized by 16 December 2020. We had planned for more time this semester since we wanted to clean up some of the VLBA links. EmmanuelMomjian said this should be enough time to make the necessary changes.
PST (my.nrao.edu) Shutdown. RickLivley reported that there have been discussions on this topic with all interested parties in the loop. A tentative schedule is sometime in the second or third week in December. After further discussion with the experts RickLively thinks that the update should be quick and there is a mechanism in place to recover if there are any problems. He therefore does not feel we need to have a backup sever. We agreed that DDT proposals and telescope scheduling were the critical items and that any delays beyond 1/2 day would be a concern.
PST Development. RickLively reported that he has released many items on webtest and that LorantSjouwerman has started to test many of these. There are two items that are still open for discussion: (1) ECT label; and (2) the ELW. DanaBalser noted that we had resvolved (1) at the last TTA meeting: we will update the documentation and reconsider the label in 21B. RickLively will move this to 21B under discuss. LorantSjouwerman will iterate on (2). RickLively reported that he was not able to find a library to check the font size on the proposal PDFs; he will check with folks at ALMA.
SRP/TAC Recruitment. MarkClaussen reported that there are 18 SRP members to recruit. The breakdown is 4, 5, and 9 for AmyMioduszewski, BrianMason, and MarkClaussen. respectively. TrishHenning has 3 TAC members to recruite; she currently has some suggestions for NGA and SFM; need some for HIZ. TrishHenning asked about the schedule; the timeline link in the agenda should suffice.
Science Helpdesk:HeidiMedlin reported that the current Kayako help desk will be replaced by Deskpro on 1-2 December 2020. She is putting together a quick guide and will send this to the TTA group. The URL will be identical.
