  • Helpdesk Issues
    • Proposing. AllieCosta reported that a few tickets were subitted over the last week and all have been resolved.
    • Account. AnandCrossley reported some institution requests and a few password resets; he is keeping up with these tickets.
  • PCO SPR Recruitment. AllieCosta reported that emails have been sent to two PCO SRP candidates; one said no. RyanLynch has now taken over recruitment. We discussed several internal candidates who we can solicit if we do not find anyone to serve in the next week or so. AllieCosta will pass these along to RyanLynch
  • Proposal Caps. We agreed to the following:
    • HSA/GMVA/Global cm VLBI. Generally these proposals are not included in the cap. The exception is if they include ad hoc international stations where access for the US community to propose for those international stations for the same observations is restricted. For these cases the caps will only be applied to the VLBA (e.g., if the GBT was also included as a station the caps would not be applied to the GBT). For proposals that do not go though our TAC (e.g., global cm VLBI), the caps will be implemented the same way as for DDT proposals.
    • Ad Hoc VLBI. Occasionally there is a proposal submitted that plans an ad hoc VLBI experiment that is not part of HSA/GMVA/Global cm VLBI (e.g., use the GBT with another telescope). In such cases we will not include this proposal in the caps unless the joining facility is not available to US investigators.
    • Joint External Proposals (e.g., VLA and JWST). All joint external proposals that go through the NRAO TAC will be included in the caps. All joint external proposals that go through an external TAC will not be included in the caps since we have an MoU agreement that allows the external organization to allocate time on our facilities.
    • Joint Internal Proposals (e.g, VLA and GBT). All joint internal proposals will be included in the caps.
