  • 19B
    • CfP Issues.
      • PST Helpdesk: one ticket on the VLBA which is somewhat involved. MarkClaussen will reply to let the user know we are working on it.
      • Account Helpdesk: one password reset Account ticket. When the user resets their password the PST points them to a page that requires them to include the user name and email. If they enter the wrong user name/email the page resets and we think this is causing some confusion. RickLively has added code to capture info in the logs to better understand the problem. We could include the user name in the email and/or provide more information about the process. Once we collect some data we will have a better idea on how best to proceed.
    • PST Review Items. RickLively reported that he has a fix for the PST filter issues with the old SRP name: ETP. He will release this with the PST review items. He plans to work on the tickets that involved problems with file import/export.
    • SRP Recruitment. MarkClaussen and AmyMioduszewski reported that the recruitment is complete for 19B. (We only expect 4 SRP members and 1 SRP Chair in 20A.) Some basic stats:
      • Overall 44%/55% of the reviewers are female/male.
      • There are 7/2 female/male TAC members.
      • The PCO SRP only has 1 female. This SRP was difficult to recruit in general.
      • About 60% of the reviewers are from US institutions.
  • Non-ascii/unicode Characters in User Database. AnandCrossley summarized a request from folks in CASA that we modify the PST to remove any non-ascii codes in the PST. This is causing problems with CASA. RickLively suspects this is occurring since names can be passed via PST-->PBT-->OPT and this is put into the SDM. GarethHunt noted that the PST software allows many of the non-standard characters but not all of them. LorantSjouwerman noted that CASA has to deal with ALMA which has more names with diacritical marks. We agreed not to make any changes in the current PST but this should be discussed for the new tools and the decision is really a policy decision.
  • AOB
    • Shutdown. LorantSjouwerman questioned whether the user community understands that NRAO will be open at least until 1 February 2019 and we will be accepting proposals. DanaBalser will mention this to LewisBall.
