  • 22B
    • Timeline. DanaBalser reported that so far there are no issues with the current timeline. The deadline for TAC feedback is on Friday.
    • CfPs Template. EmmanuelMomjian reported that a draft of the VLA page is available for comment. MarkClaussen reported that he has done some work on the VLBA page; needs to coordinate with GMVA call. EmmanuelMomjian identified links that should be go-links; we agreed to use "prop" instead of "obs" for the go-links. LorantSjouwerman will create the go-links and DanaBalser will edit the Plone pages.
    • PST CfP Items. LorantSjouwerman reported that all high priority tickets are done, and there are a few minor issues on the medium priority tickets. We agreed to reassess two low prirotity items (SSA-4790 and SSA-4738) that require further input. MarkClaussen has looked into these tickets and it is not clear if the effort required to provide the input is worth it. RickLively has three days effort remaining (from 10 days) and should be able to clean up the medium priority tickets and spent time on the account tickets. The plan will be to release these on 4 January 2021.
    • PST Review Requirements. No change was made to the ordered list of tickets from last week and so this is now finalize. RickLively reported that SSA-7152 may be fixed and he has spend some effort already on SSA-7063.
    • SRP/TAC Recruitment. MarkClaussen reported that he is on his fourth invitation for GWT chair. The plan is to try someone internal if we cannot fill this vacancy by next week. Otherwise there are 7 SRP vacancies to fill: 1 EGS, 2 AGN, 1 ISM (MarkClaussen); 1 SFM (AmyMioduszewski); 2 NGA (BrianMason). AmyMioduszewski reported that she probably has filled SFM and can help with ISM. We agreed that we should probably publish the eNews article about volunteering to be an SRP member earlier. We briefly discussed whether or not technical experience with a given facility (e.g., single-dish) is considered in selecting SRP/TAC members. Currently we consider science expertise, conflicts, and gender. We agreed that adding another area would make it hard to converge, but we could look at the technical expertise in general to make sure we have this area covered.
  • Divide AGN SRP. We briefly discussed the two new SRP categories (HLA and ANG) and the keywords suggested by BarryClark. MarkClaussen noted that it may be difficult for us to vet these new science categories in some cases. AllieCosta noted that in her analysis of the keywords there is a lot of overlap. DanaBalser will send the proposed new SRPs and the analysis results to JoanWrobel and FrankSchinzel to get their feedback.
