Postmortem. There were 18 PST helpdesk tickets. Most of the tickets where informational but there were a few bugs. We discussed the issues with the HSA resources and the EVN calculator links at the last TTA meeting. There was one remaining potential bug involving the LST calculator where a proposal generated a validation message saying that the minimum elevation needed to be lower. Upon investigation this turned out to be because one source in the source group had a low Declination and therefore did not rise above the minimum elevation; hence the validation message. The number of Account tickets was typical; about 40 institutional requests and a handful of password resets. There was one issue with a Sponsored proposal which included a disabled account. It appears this occurred because of a copied proposal and/or merged account since a user cannot add a disabled account from the Authors page.
Release Proposals for Review. The time period to release proposals for review was slightly compressed this semester. This was complicated by 2 late proposals and one that was withdrawn after we moved the PST to the Assign Reviewers stage. RickLively was able to fix the database without too much effort. There were, however, issues with the technical review assignments. When importing the assignments there are issues with matching the categories. This appears to be a software problem since these issues do not arise when assigning the reviews manually with the UI. RickLively will create a ticket if necessary. MarkClaussen noted that there is still the issue with copying reviewers from a previous semester. There is a ticket for this item.
PHT Requirements. RickLively will create a filter for these tickets and AmyMioduszewski will set the priorities with feedback from BarryClark and MarkClaussen. Most of the available resources will be used for the ANY configuration ticket.
Metrics:AnandCrossley summarized an issue with the PST database vis-a-vis the hours for each priority. Since 17A the hours at each priority are all zero for the GBT. The total approved hours and the public bit have been set, however, and do show up in the PFT. RickLively reported that the script that ToneyMinter runs was designed for Sponsored and DDT proposals and therefore does not include the hours broken down by Priority. MarkClaussen pointed out that we do assign Priorities to some Sponsored and DDT proposals. RickLively will create a ticket so that we can investigate the resources required to fix this problem. AnandCrossley will contact MarkWhitehead about gaining read-only access to the GBT database.
AGN SRP:LewisBall briefly summarized a request made by the AGN chair to add another reviewer with more VLBI experience to help in reviewing 19B proposals. MarkClaussen, DanaBalser, and LewisBall will discuss this and decide how to proceed.
Conflict of Interest:LewisBall summarized our current procedures concerning conflicts of interest and proposal confidentiality. The relevant information is available in the instructions and guidelines given when we release proposals for review but we do not directly get any confirmation from our reviewers. We could be more direct by including it in our emails or in the PST when reviewers enter their conflicts. DanaBalser will investigate the language currently used in the PST.
