Large Proposal Telecon. DanaBalser reported that a preliminary assessement was performed for the three GBT Large proposals since the folks in GB were unvailable for the telecon. The TAC recommended priorities for 2 of the 3 Large GBT proposals, but we will revisit all three at the face-to-face TAC meeting. The TAC converged on the recommendation for the three VLA Large proposals.
Logistics. DanaBalser reported that everything should be set. We have one remote TAC member who will dial in with Polycom RealPresence.
Updated Info. ToneyMinter reported that he will not have updated info until early next week. ToneyMinter did not have any new info about the new Sponsor, NRL, but we will plan to include them in the PST. RickLively will try to get to this by the end of the week and LorantSjouwerman will test the update. AmyMioduszewski reported that she may not be ready until Monday. We briefly discussed the issues with Any configuration proposals. Many of the Any configuration proposals are not Triggered in 20A. Too, the pressure for the B and C-configurations are not the same and therefore in practice these Any configuartion proposals will not be evenly divided up between configurations. We usually divide these evenly for metric purposes. AnandCrossley noted that the metric often used is by semester and so this should not have any effect. AmyMioduszewski said a larger issue will be the Disposition letters which need to be modified. We agreed that we will work this out after the TAC meeting. BarryClark said he will help out. MarkClaussen reported that he did not need to update the VLBA report. We agreed to try and have info ready to be sent out on Monday.
PST CfP Items. RickLively reported that he will most likely start work next week on these items. LorantSjouwerman noted that BryanButler is talking to DaleFrail about how we define Large proposals starting in 20B. MarkClaussen had concerns about VLBA proposals since we receive some that need to extend beyond 4 semesters which are currently defined as an X-proposal, even if they are less than 1000 hours.
