VLA/GBT/VLBA Resource Changes

NRAO Interactive Services Modification Request 2C209, June 2009

1. Introduction

Resources naturally change with each trimester.

2. Background

3. Requirements

  1. EVLA
    • No changes (WIDAR in October 2009).
  2. VLBA
  3. GBT
    • Add in all high frequency receivers.
    • Possible changes with Mustang, GUPPI, and Zpectrometer. DanaBalser will look into this. Only one change:
      • For MUSTANG, change the text: "20 GHz bandwidth" to "18 GHz bandwidth".
    • Remove BCPM and CGSR2 from the backend menu.
    • New sensitivity calculator. RonMaddalena will know by mid-June (probably for October 2009 release). This will be released for the October 2009 deadline at the earliest.

4. Design

Technical lead should provide a brief description of how this will be implemented in the code.

5. Deployment Checklist

Documentation? Systems/hardware/networking things needed for deployment?

6. Test Plan

6.1 Internal Testing

6.2 Sponsor Testing

6.3 Integration/Regression Tests
