      • Before releasing 6.0 to the public, we should have the following as minimum:
        • Automated tests running for each Pull Request
        • Tests to verify the creation of the wheels and the casa-root tarball
      • Desired list:
        • Enable compiling C++ unit tests in casatools (CAS-12731)
        • Python tests of casatasks and datasets available to users when installing wheels and casa-root
    • Features left out : Some GUIs? Interactive Clean ? An IPC issue ?
    • Official release or not ? Beta ? (largely for bookkeeping reasons, and partly as a pipeline prototyping version?)

  • Awaiting corrections/updates to the plone docs from stakeholders/George regarding the statistical algorithm.
• CARTA
  • my python module supports three rpc calls. I'm ready for someone (Pam?) to write the C++ backend server for it and test. As I recall, the plan for the upcoming CARTA release was to demonstrate proof of concept. If that's the case, and the still to be written server works and there are no issues, then it would appear that this task would be complete (less some minor clean up) for the December release. - DM

• CASA Docs task pages: Development tabs are not user-friendly, or up-to-date. Currently do not look good on CASA, and users are noticing. Can we make them private/internal?
