• CASA Management Plan update
  • Nearly ready for circulation

  • Intended to provide basic guidance and process, not detailed rules

Science Development

• Calibration, Flagging, Imaging, Analysis, Simulation
  • Update on 5.7 dev items (from all the devs) : Most on track for feature-completion by the end of Dec. Additional bug-fix tickets mostly only after that. * Release date plans ?
  • lustre bug resolution : Nothing for CASA to do.
  • One dev item (fixvis) is still in the decision-of-what-to-do stage and we'll try to resolve that in the next couple of days.
  • The only major item being dropped is algorithm fixes to wideband mosaicing normalizations.
  • Initial stakeholder tests (Jen/Amanda/Tom) for ALMA are ready and will be used by imaging developers for 3 different ongoing topics.
  • Potential conflict between ALMA and VLASS use cases for a feature requested by the Scientific Computing Group for VLASS. Current plan is to not check it into the system until after the 5.7 release for ALMA.
