  • Measurement Set
    • CAS-11724, is about filling large VLASS Pointing tables using too much memory. This ticket has uncovered a bug in exportasdm in the process of testing the fix. SDM Pointing tables written by exportasdm may be wrong but I can't tell yet by how much (one or two dropped pointings, different arrangement in the output SDM but fully recovered when re-imported, duplicate but harmless information in the output Pointing table, or wrong values on reimport, I'm still investigating). Where is exportasdm used and how often is it used? People interested in this bug in exportasdm may want to follow this ticket for updates on the impact when re-imported and to test the fix (which will be fixed in this branch along with the fix to the original problem reported in this ticket). BG.
