Science Development

• Is fringecal used anywhere? The code is in casa5/code/miriad/apps/scripts/fringecal2.py and casa5/code/miriad/apps/scripts/fringecal.py. There is an old ticket to create tests for fringecal, that's the reason for the question (from Sandra).

  • There is a readme.md on the making in the CAS-12802 branch with instructions about how to name test scripts, how to run scripts and data for tests, etc.
• test_gaincal has been merged with test_req_task_gaincal. There is only one test now in casa5 and casatasks called test_req_task_gaincal. Others will follow the same approach.
