Principle of fitting atmospheric transmission model to Tsys spectrum:

Tsys = exp(tau)/g_signal * [T_rx + g_signal*Jsky_signal + g_image*Jsky_image]
    • where J = (hv/k) / [exp(hv/kT) - 1]
    • get airmass from the elevation of the Tsys scan
    • get PWV from the CALATMOSPHERE table
    • compute the Tsky and tau spectrum at the FDM resolution using the at model
    • get the T_rx spectrum from the cal table
    • get the sideband gain ratios from the CALATMOSPHERE table (using au.getSBGains)
    • interpolate the T_rx spectrum from TDM to FDM resolution
    • calculate a new Tsys spectrum at FDM resolution using the equation above
    • overlay with the TDM spectrum as a sanity check
