Notes
ReferenceSorted ascending Note
Note 1 There should be an on/off switch to either resolve the source position or not. That is, to use the source name and a catalog to get the coordinates associated with this source name. Also, there should be an option to return calibrators associated with this search. Wildcards should be permitted when not resolving the source name (e.g., W3* should find W3, W3OH, etc.).
Note 10 Analysis notes are text input from eitherobserver/operator logs for raw data, notes generated by a pipeline for processed data, or notes from an investigator that has published data in our archive.
Note 2 The meta-data will consist of only J2000 positions. So if the coordinate mode is different than J2000 the interface will convert to J2000. Different coordinate formats should be allowed such as colons and spaces.
Note 3 The sky frequency is the actual frequency that was observed at the time of the observations. Therefore, the meta-data will consist of the sky frequencies. Because of the Doppler effect the frequency of a given spectral line, for example, can be significantly shifted due to large relative source motions. If sky frequency then just use the input observing frequency directly. If rest frequency then use the source velocity, velocity type, source position, and date/time to calculate a sky frequency from the observing frequency listed.
Note 4 The following polarizations are possible: XX, YY, XY, YX, LL, RR, LR, RL.
Note 5 The current list of possible receiver names: RcvrPF_1, RcvrPF_2, Rcvr1_2, Rcvr2_3, Rcvr4_6, Rcvr8_10, Rcvr12_18, Rcvr18_26, Rcvr26_40, Rcvr40_52, Rcvr_PAR (called PennArrayReceiver inside FITS file).
Note 6 The current list of possible detector names: DCR, Spectrometer, SpectralProcessor, CCB26_40, Zpectrometer, Holography, Rcvr_PAR (called PennArrayReceiver inside FITS file). The Rcvr_PAR is both a receiver and detector in one package.
Note 7 The range of values for bandwidth depend on the receivers and detectors in some cases.
Note 8 The range of values for frequency resolution depend on the receivers and detectors in some cases.
Note 9 The system temperature has to be calculated using the data.
