CHIME FRB Follow-up

Summary

This is a page for gathering information related to the idea of using the 140-foot or 20-meter as follow-up instruments for observing FRB events detected by CHIME. Once the CHIME outrigger sites are online, the location of burst events will be known to within the size of the GBT's beam, according to Andrew Seymour -- therefore, it will also be known to within the beam size of the 140-foot and the 20m. Doing follow-up observations with other telescopes will allow us to investigate whether newly-detected sources are repeaters and/or allow us to better constrain the periods of repeating FRBs. Thanks to Andrew for suggesting this science case.
