TVWG Issue List

Here is a list of issues and topics the VLASS TVWG is considering:

The following were posted by Ashley on the Forum:

1. Are there other primary fields we should push to include in the Tier 2 (medium, multi-freq)? (e.g. likely LSST deep drilling fields)
2. What cadences are needed for transients which are not from synchrotron emission? (the latter of which changes on timescales of ~months at S band)
3. Does anybody's science require angular resolution better than 10''?
4. What are thoughts on including some community followup of transients within the VLASS?
5. We found a two-tiered survey to be satisfactory for most transient goals - what would be motivation for a 3 or 4-tiered survey?
6. Should we forgo time-consuming X band observations for deeper S and C band observations in the Medium Tier survey.
