    • All test cluster components ordered, all arrived except Mark5 units

    • Test rack fully assembled and benchmarks done by May 25
    • Diskless client boot working
    • Infrastructure servers installed, working on DNS/DHCP to support processing node boot
    • Begin benchmarks next week
    • USNO Visit Last week of May if possible (Week of May 29th-June2nd) Wed 30th
  • Last meeting items
    • NRAO to set up mailing list and send WIKI access instructions DONE
    • USNO to send likely IP ranges for final cluster, NRAO will use for test cluster DONE
      • Using 10.1.34.0/24 for processing nodes
      • Is this IP space for correlator use only or are other devices on this network ?
    • USNO to send Mark5 10gbit connector type which drives switch SFP+ module selection DONE
    • NRAO to send power and heat load estimate to USNO
      • Still waiting on benchmarks runs to fully load nodes
      • Quick/dirty calculation, 35 nodes at 250W = 8750W = ~30K BTU = 2.5 Tons cooling (note assumes 110V power).
    • NRAO will look at cross compiling 32bit Difx DROP
    • USNO will send any Security policies we need to accommodate
    • USNO to answer question about contract requirement inspection of supplies record keeping above
    • USNO to send floor plan

    • I'll create a reasonable network diagram and explanation in coming weeks.
    • I'd like to get a direct contact for questions regarding the internal networking at USNO rather than rely on monthly meetings. (David and Nicole)
  • Power
    • AOC only has 30A/110V power, USNO needs 20A/220V power. We'll look into getting separate PDUs and swap them out prior to shipping
