  • Async I/O development plan Jeff/Jim
  • Script generation of 4 data sets Greg
  • Identify large continuum case Sanjay
  • Benchmark procedures James/Greg
  • Time domain partitioning with multiple MSes per imaging process Kumar

Discussion/Agenda

  • Casa Async I/O discussion
    • Recap of Ger's visit and Jim's presentation
      • Will fix MS iterator
    • Where to from here
    • Will follow Jim's recommendation, if Ger implements something at the table level we'll consider adopting.

    • Submitted to CASA group
    • HPC plan should begin driving meeting agenda
  • Specify final 4 data sets James
    • I believe these exist. We need to get them consolidated and made available to Greg
    • Greg's 30GB Continuum Case
      • Potentially problematic due to very few scans, attractive for the very same reason
      • Fill and split will be semi painful
    • Steve's 30GB Spectral
      • Nearly done
    • 100GB Crystal Spectral
      • AB1346, source G22.04, partially scripted
    • Need 100GB continuum Sanjay
  • Generate baseline timings for test data sets Greg
    • Should also save manually generated mask
  • Specify benchmark/timing test procedures James/Greg
    • Specify results
  • Time domain partitioning with multiple MSes per imaging process Kumar
    • File locking issue if master node is doing gather and scatter
    • Progress this week
  • Cluster scheduler scripting with CV James
    • Discuss with Jim semantics for cluster/CASA interaction
  • Cluster resource definitions Jim
  • Discussion on pclean functionality
    • Can be used now by normal users if they're told how
  • Discussion on user interface implementation
