Hi Rick --

we took a little bit of data for you around 5pm on Friday 6nov09. See
/home/casa-dev-11/mrupen/WIDAR0/L_baseband_008.55142.00862739583*

This is a full 1 GHz at L band (RR only, with auto-corr'ns) of 3C345 for
about 30 minutes. More channels just for fun (512/subband). We set the
RCP delays just before this run, so you can show raw data in Bonn if you
like :)

Interesting to me:
* RFI spectral labelling check
* Is there any HI absorption? I couldn't find anything useful in
the literature, which astonishes me
* Some nice postscript plots of the data:
- single baseline before doing anything
- stacked baselines after calibration (one dump [1 sec] & vector & scalar
averages over all times)
- SPFLG display

Enjoy --

Michael

p.s. Note that this script allows the attenuators to change at scan
boundaries, so you can expect 1dB steps and simultaneous changes in
the bandpass. No data set is truly perfect... The scans are listed
in the .listobs file; the input file for INDXR is .indxr .

Details of the observations:
* L band
* Subbands 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 (all 8)
* 128 MHz/subband, 512 channels per subband --> 0.25 MHz channel sep'n
* Single pol'n (RR) with auto-correlations
* 1 second dumps
* EVLA script: /home/mchost/evla/scripts/widar/L_baseband.evla
- attenuators allowed to change at scan boundaries
- fshift= 20 kHz
- lower edge of 1 GHz baseband= 988 MHz
* ~30 minutes

Software versions & WIDAR-0 configuration:
* b101-t-{0 1 2 3}, b102-t-{0 1 2 3}
- each BlB does RR w/ auto-corr'n for one subband
- 8 CCCs/corr'n --> 512 channels
* each BlB sends output to a separate NIC in node 02 (02-{1,2,3,4})
- rate per NIC= 1248 frame/sec
* CBE: wcbe-20091029.0
- configuration: w0_12ant_sb0-7rr_autocross6nov09_sdm1.xml
* StB, BlB all green during these observations
- This is after Raltron removal
* asdm2MS-test v. 1.30
* exportuvfits: CASA Version 3.0.0 (build #9388)
