Review of High-Level Plan and Gantt Chart

• We discussed how to generate a project plan - or at least a series of intermediate milestones that we can track. In the absence of any other suggestions, Richard will put together a bottoms-up WBS and Gantt chart from existing information, which can then be reviewed by the group. Since h/w and s/w development are largely decoupled, the software group can use a different approach if they prefer (e.g. Pivotal Tracker). We should start on this process next week..

Risks / Concerns / Other Items

• We discussed that VEGAS and GUPPI have different packet formats. Consensus was that there is only a thin interface to the NET task, and it can take care of that.
• Do we need to ask for Wolfgang's time to tune the lustre file system? John reported that Wolfgang has already done a test, and the work required is minimal.
• Development of pulsar mode managers can proceed independently of HPC code normalization
