VEGAS Mode Development Status:

Mode development

• Modes 1-6 are now compiled for R2
• Compiled mode 13 w all 8 subbands
  • awaiting h/w for testing

Testing Status:

Need to work out testing procedure for relocated Valon serial connection (John, Ray, Jason)

Working R2 Mode 13 (one subband) plus mode 1-3 at full speed and now compiling a Mode 13 with all eight subbands.

Action Items:

• Need to resolve Mellonox v. dual GPU issue. (John, Glenn, Dan)
• Determine the drivers of the December GC observations
• Randy will contact Moe to discuss NRAO experiences and suggestions regarding troubleshooting of the Roach 2

Schedules

Three of ten rev-2 (production run boards) worked very well. The other seven have problems. UCB and S. Africa. have been trying to debug them - one of them was earmarked for NRAO. Mark & Calvin are headed to S.A to see what they can do to asist in troubleshooting and test mezzanine boards. Production is likely suspended until the issues are resolved.
