HPC-10 and network performance - Most of the bugs have been worked out and one remaining tests to test with infiiband file server along with VEGAS load.

VEGAS Mode Development Status:

Tested single sub-band Mode 13 with other 7 sub-bands generating full rate dummy data.

Mark has tested Mode 1 on ROACH2 successfully at nearly full bandwidth. Mode 13 has issues getting packets off.

Ray is validating manager software against the coordinator MR. HPC compiles for RH 6 (done by UC-B)

• Roach-II status. VEGAS order is in. Production boards should be available ~mid October (was ~1 August.) Between prototype and loaners VEGAS testing can continue.
• Order balance of GPU computers for delivery before 15-Oct. (was 1-Sept).
• Backend pipeline processor/disk subsystem (power and HVAC reqs.) meet w/chris (~1 July). Joe to circulate latest design for review. just for pipeline processing & SDFits Daemon? Generally, the rest will be on other machines due for replacement under non-VEGAS projects

Decisions

Continue to wait for production ROACH 2 boards as opposed to requesting a custom build.
