Observation Status:

There are no further plans for GC observations with VEGAS this spring. The observers plan to use the Ku Wideband receiver in August. Marty will convey this need to the Ku-Band upgrade project as a use requirement.

VEGAS Mode Development Status:

Report on Mode 13 development - Jayanth just arrived in Berkeley for the summer, so work starts next month. UCB will need to decide whether or not the existing yellow block will be okay for now with AsiaA ADCs.

The balance MR has been approved by the CCC.

Testing Status:

Anish and Ray have successfully tested position setting testing with one bank on May 2. This tested position switching on a continuum source, polarized scans and the GFM display. They would like to test with all banks before VEGAS is disassembled (reduced to four banks). If the all-bank position switched tests can be completed in next week or two, VEGAS will remain whole.

Plan to test bank selection on May 10.
