TGBT14A_912_89 - Troubleshoot latest VEGAS problems

Goals

• Troubleshoot latest egregious VEGAS problems, with a focus on switching signal distribution system

Details

• Get set up at 7:30am
• Using old (release) version of VEGAS, BOFs, etc
• Set up for A,F,G,H so that we can see what switching signal master is up to.
• Initial test, check the problem is still there (xband, hi cal)
• bank_gain_mode4_xband

• balance
• track
• scan 1: Tsys varies from 62 to 4874K ! pol 0 is by far the worst this time.
• Tsys = [4874.33, 554.93, 168.59, 81.34, 112.78, 109.36, 99.99, 62.35]
• scan 2: repeat. Tsys = [5627, 571, 171, 81, 111, 115, 102, 62]
• so, very consistent from scan to scan.
• switch to mode 1
• scan 3: Mode 1 Tysys looks very consistent, around 35K
• scans: 4 - 9: AutoPeak - Tsys ~ 27K and very consistent
• scan 10: Mode 4. Problem still there.
• Appear to be running with NEW manager, but OLD BOF
• lbw_gain is set to 4294967295 for Bank F, 4294967295, for Bank A, etc...
• scan 11 - old manager, old BOF - goes back to the slightly faulty, normal behavior
• 8:45am - go home again.
