Attached are data from 212 and 274 GHz with no grids: | ||
Grid was placed over the Duommun horn, but the cross-pol level remained around 17.5 dB: |
The horn was cleaned and the aperture reshaped by the shop (grid remained over horn) and levels reduced to -23.5 dB: |
Placed grid over both transmit and receive horns: |
We checked linearity using a section of Marconi absorber (~ 25 dB insertion loss) and confirmed that the power meter, spectrum analyzer, and network analyzer all measured the same relative power. Dynamic range was checked by placing block of CV-3 absorber over horn. Dynamic range was > 40 dB on Network Analyzer. |
Replaced Ducommun horn with CMI Standard Gain Horn. Measurement of CMI Horn HO3R (co-pol): |
Crosspol results for the pyrimidal horn look suspiciously similar to all previous data. I think the title here is incorrect and the grid was only on the TX for this measurement. |
