  • CV Aud - Initiate hub by: turning on both monitors (at rear of room), using remote: (a) press green call button, (b) use arrows to select "place call" onscreen, (c) press center select button, (d) if not already displayed, type in 192.33.117.12##6518using number keypad, (e) press call button again. At this point, anyone calling the phone number above, or using the IP address, will be able to connect to the meeting.

    • Jim has updated the NAASC Guide and sent it to Tommy
    • Jim is updating the poster for meetings: let him know if you're going to a meeting and can take a poster. Gerald will take one to CASCA
  • Helpdesk (Tony)
    • There were 22 change requests for Cycle0 and the average turnaround time was too long: 2 weeks
    • The CRC is preparing a document for contact scientists to help them decide the clearcut cases themselves
    • Helpdesk team has made recommendations to SciOps on how to handle another downed server
  • PI Support & Visitors (Scott)
  • Tutorials & development of outreach materials (Carol, Adam)
    • Summer school and webinar content dry run was held May 23. No issues, just minor edits needed
    • Webinar logistics and Webex software dry run follwed the USG meeting; worked out some of the Webex technical issues but did not successullly run through the event. Another run-through scheduled for May 29
    • 8 registered for webinar as of May 24 (11 as of May 30)
  • Workshops, Schools, Meetings (Tony, Adam)
    • Rocks13: Hilton Waikaloa Village gave us a deal on rooms: $180; $125 students double occupancy
    • SOC has created a preliminary agenda and is developing a list of invited speakers
    • Applying for ouytside funding; funding profile still uncertain
