News and overview

  • possibly including a moderator to manage questions
  • advantage to having a log is that questions can be saved and added to a follow-up website
  • what else do we need to do before the deadline? A few people expressed an interest in another workshop - but with videos online, perhaps that is enough
  • Should we set aside times for someone to be available to talk directly with callers. 'every morning between 10am-11am, a staff member will be on skype'
  • Should we open the ability for 'callers' to use the helpdesk to contact someone to speak with about possible research?
  • Add a reminder on the website that 'no question is too stupid'. Those monitoring the helpdesk should be alert to possibilities to follow up with a personal call.
