  • Kartik's report on Community Day training in Hawaii -
    • 40 people came to overview and Science talk; 10 or so people each time for hands-on.
    • better description of simdata output. Need to make a couple of extra slides to explain better.
    • one person had error; asked that the person submit a help ticket.
    • The website that we're connecting to will always be updated. Download latest version the night before Train the Trainer or CD events.
    • Need to do a CASA walk-through as a presentation for tutorial.
    • Recommendation: encourage organizers to get Community excited about the Science first.
    • Had discussed adding Scott's talk to the Simdata/CASA Guide?

  • Helpdesk (Tony)
    • Tony going to Socorro on March 1st
  • Science Web, News and EPO (Aaron/Mark)

      • Article from Al
      • Development Workshop - Al/Todd (Lyndele)

      • Amy, Nuria and Robin bios
      • Mark A will take lead on submitting material for ALMA Newsletter
      • Aaron, Mark, Al, Tony and Lyndele are now on William's radar for request for material
      • Overview of what NA ARC can provide (Jim Braatz) - perhaps update Dec enews article?
    • This is "Plone Week" so there's a lot of discussion going on
  • Documentation (Jim)
    • The Proposer's Guide has been fleshed out and distributed to Science working group. It seems to have been well received and may be incorporated into Web Portal
    • The EU would like to write the OT documentation. We could provide supplementary material (what we'd use at CDEs).
  • NAASC Presence at Science Meetings (Adam)
  • Visitor Program (Scott)
    • Open doors to people who may want to come after proposals are out.
    • Not promoting the Visitor Program; not paying for people to come to work with SV data.
