transferWeights

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Copies the weights from one ms to another ms, requiring that both have the same number of rows. This is useful for copying weights from a continuum-subtracted dataset to the corresponding continuum dataset. See also scaleweights, resetweights, compareWeights, and copyweights.

Usage:

au.transferWeights(vis, outputvis)
  • vis: the measurement set from which to read the weights
  • outputvis: the measurement set to which to write the weights

Example:

CASA <3>: au.transferWeights('g11.92.CnB.ms.contsubhann.statwt','G1192.ms.contin')
