testFlagRowColumn

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Tests whether the FLAG_ROW column is consistent with the FLAG column. Returns True if consistent, False if inconsistent. This task was written to accompany the email sent by Crystal Brogan to science_datared on August 14, 2014 describing the CASA flagging bug.

Usage:

au.testFlagRowColumn(vis)

Examples:

CASA <3>: au.testFlagRowColumn('uid___A002_X8081ba_X49ca.ms.split/')
WARNING!!!! The FLAG and FLAG_ROW columns are inconsistent on 553470/3487500 rows.
