surmiseCycleFromASDM

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Finds the date of an ASDM and determines which ALMA Cycle it is from, using the following dates:
  • Cycle 0: 2011-09-30 to 2013-01-20
  • Cycle 1: 2013-01-21 to 2014-06-02
  • Cycle 2: 2014-06-03 to 2015-09-30
  • Cycle 3: 2015-10-01 to ...

Usage: 

au.surmiseCycleFromASDM(asdm)

Example: 

CASA <14>: au.surmiseCycleFromASDM('uid___A002_X36ffba_X1f')
