show_circles_intersecting

Return to directory of Todd's tools

Implements aplpy's show_circles function but prevents drawing the portions that intersect with other circles.

Usage: 

tt.show_circles_intersecting(f, xw, yw, radiusPixels, color='k')
Inputs:
  • f: an aplpy.FITSFigure instance
  • xw, yw: circle centers in world coordinates (degrees)
  • color: the color of the circle to draw
