setBeam

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Sets the restoring beam in a CASA image header using the ia tool. See also setImageUnits.

Usage: 

au. setBeam(img, major='', minor='', pa='0.0deg', fromimg='')
  • major: string with units, e.g. '4.5arcsec'
  • minor: string with units, e.g. '4.5arcsec'
  • pa: string with units, e.g. '32.1deg'
  • fromimg: take the beam parameters from a second image
