Usage for scaleImage

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

This function will read in a CASA single-plane image, and scales one or more rectangular regions by a scale factor. See also imshift and normalizeImage.

Usage

       au.scaleImage(myimage, boxes=[], factors=[])

To scale the whole image, set boxes to a blank box, i.e. boxes=[[]]

Example:

CASA <5>: au.scaleImage('B9scaled.image',[[147,91,181,123]],[10])
Prior max=3.504224,  new max=8.389874
