representativeSpw

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Returns the science spw that contains the representative frequency of the measurement set. If multiple spws qualify, then return the one whose center frequency is nearest. See also representativeFrequency.

Usage:

au.representativeSpw(vis, verbose=True)

Example:

CASA <2>: au.representativeSpw('uid___A002_Xade68e_X1a96.ms')
minAcceptableResolution = 1.277362 arcsec                                                                                                  
maxAcceptableResolution = 1.561221 arcsec
